Oh~! Delicious Chicken!

When you ask a Filipino; "Where can I get good fried chicken?" majority will answer "Jollibee" and some "KFC" and the rest will name some other generic fried chicken fast food place. But we don't talk about fast food here! NOT IN MY BLOG!

Sunburst, it's been a long time since I last dined here and their fried chicken is the same as always; Good! Unlike some establishments where you can no longer taste the same chicken you ate as a child, but I don't want to "buzz" about restaurants that lost quality, I want to talk about restaurants with good food!

First off lets talk about the restaurant; the decor and overall style is simple yet it makes it cozy the way any Filipino restaurants should be. A place to relax and enjoy your casual meal with your family or friends and have a conversation. When I was there it was quite clean, and all the waiters were very attentive and polite.

Now about the food, I have honest only tried like two, technically three things in the menu the menu, I didn't really plan on reviewing the restaurant, but I had such a nice meal and experience I just wanted to write about it. The following are things I ate:

1.Birds Nest Soup

Okay, I honestly think they could have used a more stylish bowl, but as I said this is a casual restaurant so they're not required to be all fancy and that. That aside though it's quite good! is it the best Birds Nest soup I ate in my life? Maybe not, but its good enough to write about. It's taste is Birds Nest soup, I have nothing more to say but that.

2.Coleslaw

Their Coleslaw actually comes free with the chicken, but you have the option of ordering extra, which we did; because it really goes well with their chicken. Seriously I dunno if your a fan of Coleslaw but if you are then you should try theirs, if you don't like it fine, but I LOVE it! 

3.Fried Chicken

Finally! We get to talk about the Chicken! Their Chicken is very good! Seriously if you go to Sunburst and not get the Chicken... Why? I don't even...  Anyway its Delicious, Crunchy on the outside juicy in the inside and it even has some fries on top which I wish they also serve individually (I didn't ask, I will next time I am there.). Try the chicken! Try it!

That concludes our current restaurant review, I will be coming back Sunburst again for their Chicken and to try the rest of their menu. If you are ever in Davao City and would like to eat at Sunburst just tell the driver to go to Sutherland(the call center) near Banko Central or just say Sunburst, it's actually well known.
